Nicole and Dan's ICONA Avalon Wedding was filled with so much joy from beginning to end. Witnessing the blending of their two families was beautiful to watch.
When I met Nicole and Dan for the first time (Zoom call), it was like reuniting with old friends. We talked about the day and life and everything flowed very naturally. I instantly knew they were so excited to work with me and equally as excited for their incredible wedding day!
Nicole and Dan met during their senior year of college. They quickly realized that they actually went to high school together too. Evenso, they didn’t know each other at the time.
Dan proposed during a family vacation in Florida. They were able to celebrate the engagement with much of their family and friends. They are very excited to keep the beach theme going by getting married at the Jersey Shore, specifically, ICONA in Avalon.
ICONA AVALON Wedding Ceremony
Their wedding was a day short of the official start of fall, but the weather didn’t care. It was cool and very breezy on the beach in Avalon. Nicole and Dan’s spirits were high even if we had to do the bridal party portraits inside. Nothing was going to stop them from enjoying the moment.
Their ceremony was also held inside the venue. The cocktail hour section was meticulously transformed into a stunning wedding ceremony. Icona Avalon staff worked tirelessly to recreate this beautiful space. Nicole and Dan read their vows in front of all of their favorite people and sealed their union with a kiss.
Everyone was excited and having a wonderful time. From the bridal party to the families, the emotion and joy was overwhelming! Nicole and Dan were the stars of their show and they couldn’t help but exude happiness.

One of the highlights of the wedding was when Dan’s mother was announced during the reception entrance. She danced into the ballroom with confidence and flair. She sidestepped and twirled with grace. It was the best introduction I’ve witnessed in a long time.
DJ Christian from SCE Event Group kept the dance floor full and everyone (us included) was dancing up a storm! Thankfully the ballroom is big enough to accommodate all the guests. I'm pretty sure Nicole and Dan only sat down during dinner and speeches and the rest of the time, they celebrated on their feet!
The First Look at ICONA Avalon Wedding
I love the First Look. I feel they are moments that are truly the couples’ and theirs alone. Nicole and Dan’s moment was beautiful and joyful. Dan’s reaction to seeing his bride for the first time that day was absolutely priceless. It felt like a movie when I was there, her dress flowing in the breeze.

Meeting Nicole and Dan in person was meant to happen. I wanted to show them that hiring me as their videographer was the best decision they made.
