While engagement season is in full effect and wedding planning is a go, potential brides
often wonder, "Should I hire a company that bundles a photographer and videographer, or should I hire both separately?"
This is a fairly common question. In fact, we get asked this same question all the time.
My simple advice to a bride is this...
Remember, your wedding is a once in a lifetime event. You want someone who prides him/herself in quality work, whether it is photography or videography. When a small business puts their heart and soul into ONE product, it's more likely you will be very pleased with the outcome. You want to hire someone with experience, passion, and creativity.
You want your film to be uplifting and beautiful. It's one of the most important days of your life and you deserve that!
Even though there are companies that offer both services under one roof, most hire out and act as middlemen. When this happens, there is no quality control and little to no vision of the wedding day. If you do decide to hire a one stop shop, make sure they work VERY closely with both photographer and videographer.
As for us, we focus solely on videography/cinematography. Because we film, edit, and deliver everything ourselves, we are able to control what we produce and offer. We support small businesses that provide exceptional service and we've worked with incredible photographers that share the same goal as we do...to create beautiful works of art that invoke feeling and emotion.
